Promoting Healthy Connections For Veterans, Active Military, Family and Friends

Honoring Veterans, Military, Caregivers, and Families During Suicide Prevention Month. Because we all serve, support, and encourage our current and former military members and their families.

This family friendly free event!

Join us for a morning of unity, remembrance, and appreciation as we come together to bring awareness to and advocate for suicide prevention. As well as coming together to honor and appreciate veterans, military, caregivers and their families during Suicide Prevention Month. One of the strategies to suicide prevention is to promote healthy connections. Let us get together to do just that.

Additionally, we are looking for volunteers and donations of water, snacks, or promotional items.

Highlights:
Scenic hike through Poplar Grove Park. Enjoy 1.2-mile loop through woods and fields.
Commemorative ceremony
Information from local Veterans’ Organizations
DJ, give-a-ways, refreshments and snacks
Family-friendly activities. Playground on site

Lastly, bring your family and friends to show your support and enjoy a beautiful day outdoors. Together, let’s celebrate the strength and sacrifice of our military- veteran community.
