VETERANS IN PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT

This year’s theme is “BATTLE OF THE BRANCHES!” We want to see which military branch of service comes out on top! It is a Salute to Service members and the community that supports them.
About the Tournament
The tournament will be held at Spirit Park, National Harbor’s tribute honoring the men and women who have served in the military. Spirit Park will have plenty of room for players and spectators.
The tournament games will use the following format: round-robin with four pools guaranteeing a minimum of three games for all participants. The top two teams in each pool will move to bracket play. At which time a single elimination format, played out until we have our first championship team. Players of all skill levels and abilities are encouraged to participate.
In addition to the pickleball tournament, there are various activities, food and vendors in and around the National Harbor area.

Why Pickleball?
Veterans In Pickleball is committed to promoting the sport of pickleball. As well as making it accessible to the Veterans community and the people who support it of all ages and skill levels. The National Harbor Pickleball Tournament is a way to showcase how pickleball can positively impact those veterans. As well as service members’ mental health and wellness by introducing this great sport to them.
