Herbert Stapleton

Special Agent in Charge, Indianapolis Division, FBI

Herbert J. Stapleton was named Special Agent in Charge of the Indianapolis Division of the FBI in February, 2022. In his previous role, he served as the Deputy Assistant Director (DAD) in the FBI’s Cyber Division, where he lead the FBI’s operational programs targeting sophisticated cyber threats from criminal and nation-state actors. Mr. Stapleton began his FBI career as a Special Agent in the St. Louis Field Office, Cape Girardeau RA, and later served in the Chicago and Cincinnati Field Offices. Prior to joining the FBI, he practiced corporate and commercial law in a private law firm.

Joseph D. Henry

Supervisory Cybersecurity Advisor – Indiana & Illinois, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), U.S. DHS

J.D. Henry serves as a Cybersecurity Advisor within the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Integrated Operations Division. In this role, he directly supports the agency’s mission of strengthening the security and resilience of the nation’s critical infrastructure. J.D.’s duties involve coordinating cyber preparedness, risk mitigation, incident response, and providing cyber security resources to the nation’s critical infrastructure sectors and state, local, tribal, and territorial government entities.

J.D. has 20+ years’ experience in the Information Technology (IT) and Cybersecurity fields, to include multiple assignments across the Department of Homeland Security and Department of Defense. Additionally, he is still serving as a Cyber Effects Operations Officer in the United States Air Force Reserves. His educational experience includes a Master’s in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science degrees in Information Systems Management and Workforce Education and Development, as well as numerous professional certifications in his field.
