Firstly, the PACT Act expands VA benefits and health care for Veterans exposed to toxins and other hazards while serving at home or abroad. Secondly, even if you have been denied in the past, you may now qualify under the PACT Act. Lastly, register and join us to learn more, file a claim, apply for VA health care, as well as explore additional resources, and more!
This event is sponsored by the Chesapeake Veterans Alliance—which includes the Maryland Department of Veterans and Military Families, the VA Maryland Health Care System, and the Baltimore Regional Office of the Veterans Benefits Administration.
Three main opportunities at this event:
File a Claim
Meet one-on-one with a VA claims processor to file or follow up on a claim, including those related to toxic exposures.
Apply for VA Health Care
Get help applying for VA health care. This option is for Veterans who have never been seen by a VA health care provider.
Visit Resource Tables
Get information about toxic exposure screenings. Visit tables and chat with representatives from throughout VA (including benefits, health care, burial and the Vet Center.) The Maryland Department of Veterans & Military Families, and a variety of other local and state organizations serving Veterans.
